ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated Bridge Engineer to join our Transportation Division. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to grow within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team working on meaningful bridge projects for public and private clients.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the design and development of bridge projects including superstructures, substructures, and retaining walls
Perform structural analysis and design calculations under the direction of a senior engineer
Assist in the preparation of construction plans, specifications, and estimates
Support QA/QC reviews of design documents
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across multiple office locations
Develop professionally through mentorship from experienced engineers

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

BS or MS from an ABET accredited university in Civil or Structural Engineering
0–5 years of applicable bridge engineering experience
Ability to acquire EIT certification; EIT/PE licensure in WV or OH strongly encouraged and supported
Experience or coursework in bridge design including AASHTO LRFD
Proficiency or willingness to learn OpenRoads and MicroStation
Familiarity with bridge design software for structural components
Knowledge of or exposure to WVDOH or ODOT standards a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
