Director of Sales

Royal Labs Natural Cosmetics, Inc.
Johns Island, SC (On-site)

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience, plus performance bonus.

About Royal Labs

Royal Labs Natural Cosmetics is an established manufacturer of premium bath, body, skincare, and OTC personal care products. In addition to manufacturing our own nationally recognized Deep Steep® brand, we develop and manufacture private label and custom formulations for brands ranging from startups to major national retailers.

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead growth across both our contract manufacturing division and the Deep Steep brand.

This is not an entry-level business development role. We are looking for someone with proven industry experience who understands private label manufacturing, cosmetic product development, and how to build long-term customer relationships.

Position Summary

The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving new business for Royal Labs' contract manufacturing services while supporting strategic growth initiatives for the Deep Steep brand.

This individual will develop relationships with beauty brands, retailers, entrepreneurs, distributors, and existing customers while managing opportunities from initial inquiry through production launch.

The ideal candidate already has experience in the beauty and personal care industry, understands the private label manufacturing process, and has a successful track record of generating new business.

Responsibilities

Generate new contract manufacturing and private label business opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with beauty brands, retailers, distributors, and entrepreneurs.
Manage sales opportunities from initial inquiry through production launch.
Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and manufacturing estimates.
Work closely with formulation, regulatory, operations, and production teams to ensure successful project execution.
Represent Royal Labs at industry trade shows and networking events.
Grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
Support strategic sales initiatives for the Deep Steep consumer brand.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Meet and exceed annual sales goals.

Qualifications

Required

5+ years of sales experience in cosmetics, skincare, bath & body, or personal care.
Experience selling private label or contract manufacturing services.
Strong understanding of cosmetic manufacturing, packaging, and product development.
Proven success developing new business and managing customer relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred

Existing relationships within the beauty, skincare, or personal care industry.
Experience with OTC products.
Knowledge of cosmetic regulations and labeling requirements.
Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot.

Compensation & Benefits

$85,000–$100,000 annual salary based on experience.
