Full Job Description

Formed in 1983, the West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA) is a private, non-profit membership association that represents West Virginia safety-net health care providers. WVPCA is the federally-designated primary care association for the state and is the link between federal, state and local entities providing health care for more than 30% of our state’s residents.

Our services assist members in providing high quality, cost-effective health care and address specific needs of administrators, clinicians, boards of directors, outreach workers and other center staff. We offer a wide variety of services targeted specifically toward the needs of West Virginia Community Health Centers in policy & advocacy, administration, cooperative purchasing, recruitment, information technology, and clinical care.

General Description

The Executive and Program Support Coordinator is a key member of the WVPCA staff. The Executive and Program Support Coordinator is often the first point of contact for the WVPCA and must assure that a professional and courteous introduction is made at all times. The Executive and Program Support Coordinator supports the planning and execution of in-person and virtual education events for health center members. The Executive and Program Support Coordinator is responsible for office management and assures that the office is maintained in a clean and professional manner. The Executive and Program Support Coordinator monitors health center changes to assure that the WVPCA maintains an accurate and current database of sites and services. The Executive and Program Support Coordinator provides administrative support to the CEO and other staff, as directed.

Qualifications

2-4year business/office management degree preferred
Service industry experience preferred
Minimum of two years of previous experience in office management
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledgeable of the community health center model of care

Required Skills

Strong communication skills to assure that member needs are identified and addressed
Knowledge, skill and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of personalities
Ability to work well in a professional team environment, including respect for different styles and personalities, enthusiasm for collaboration, communication, and appreciation for the critical role everyone plays in project and mission implementation
Must have strong computer literacy skills, with competency of Microsoft Office Suite
Good planning and organization skills
