Full Job Description

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving incoming materials, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and performing system transactions in a contract manufacturing environment. This role requires close coordination with internal departments such as Purchasing, Quality, and Production to ensure timely and accurate material flow. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with inventory systems, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming materials, supplies, and products; verify against packing slips and purchase orders for accuracy.
Perform computer transactions in the ERP/MRP system to record receipts and maintain inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality Control, and Production to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth material flow.
Label and stage received materials in appropriate storage locations following warehouse layout and safety protocols.
Support inventory control goals by conducting cycle counts and assisting with root cause analysis for discrepancies.
Participate in ongoing process improvements for receiving efficiency, material handling, and documentation practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including material transfers and support for outbound shipments.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of related experience in receiving, warehousing, or logistics—preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficient with computer systems; experience with MRP/ERP systems is highly desirable
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate standard warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)
Demonstrated commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to interface with cross-functional departments

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
