Regional Sales Executive (Commercial Electrical & Lighting)

Pay: Dependent on qualifications and experience

Job Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday (No weekends)

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to the office in Granite Falls, NC 28630)

We are seeking a proactive, high-energy Sales and Marketing Professional who is ready to take charge, maintain our valued existing accounts, and aggressively hunt for new business opportunities.

Job Overview

As a Regional Sales Executive, you will own a regional territory and drive our market expansion. This dual role requires a dynamic professional capable of balancing strategic digital/inside sales outreach with face-to-face relationship building. You will be backed by a highly experienced management team providing comprehensive industry training, materials, and support to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, delivering personalized service to optimize customer retention and organic growth.
Business Development: Conduct proactive inside and outside sales activities, including cold calling, following up on warm leads, and expanding our market footprint.
CRM Utilization: Actively leverage CRM software, QuickBooks, and modern customer management tools to track pipelines, log client interactions, and streamline the sales cycle.
Market Strategy & Marketing: Analyze local market trends and customer needs to develop and execute targeted sales and marketing strategies.
Reporting & Accountability: Assemble and deliver comprehensive weekly action and sales pipeline reports to the executive team.
Industry Presence: Represent the company at regional trade shows, networking opportunities, and various organizational events.

Qualifications & Skill Sets

Relationship Management Expertise: Proven ability to establish rapport, build long-term trust, and manage complex B2B client relationships effectively.
Sales Experience: Minimum of 4 years of verifiable sales experience (Outside sales, business development, or account management preferred).
Technical & Digital Aptitude: Proficiency with CRM platforms, QuickBooks, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and communicate technical product specifications (lighting/electrical) to clients.
Resilience & Drive: A self-starter mentality with the ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain a high-volume outreach strategy.
Education: 4-year degree in Business.
Background: A background involving building trade professions or electrical distribution is preferred.
Requirements: Must possess a valid Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug screening and background check. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
