Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Provider Coach, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of healthcare providers through innovative training and development initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead curriculum development, instructional design, and learning technology integration to ensure providers deliver exceptional care. As a Provider Coach, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence in adult education and clinical training.

Duties

Design, develop, and implement engaging training programs using instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to meet diverse provider needs.
Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and tools to deliver scalable online courses and content.
Develop comprehensive curricula and content tailored for adult learners, incorporating best practices in teaching, presentation skills, and classroom experience.
Leverage learning technology platforms such as Adobe Captivate and other authoring tools for content development and interactive e-learning modules.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create effective training materials that align with clinical standards and organizational goals.
Conduct needs assessments of individual providers and teams to identify their strengths and weaknesses in meeting HEDIS measures.
Develop and deliver training programs that are tailored to the specific needs of each provider or team, based on HEDIS guidelines and best practices.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to help providers implement the skills and knowledge they learned in training.
Track and measure the progress of providers in meeting HEDIS measures.
Assist providers in setting goals, developing action plans, and overcoming challenges.
Connect providers with local resources and best practices.
Stay up to date on the latest changes to HEDIS measures and value-based care models.
Manage projects related to curriculum updates, new course launches, and ongoing training initiatives through effective project management techniques.
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and presentations to diverse provider audiences while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms; continuously improve content based on learner needs and technological advancements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or healthcare training with a strong understanding of adult education principles.
Familiarity with ADDIE model, SCORM standards, LMS platforms such as Blackboard or similar systems.
Strong project management skills to oversee multiple training projects simultaneously.
Expertise in learning technology tools including Adobe Captivate and other content development software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Classroom experience combined with presentation skills that engage adult learners effectively.
Knowledge of healthcare environments or clinical settings is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to develop engaging content for online and in-person delivery formats. Strong understanding of Behavioral Health and Substance Use services in children and adults.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to assess training needs and adapt training methods to cater to different learning styles.
