Inventory Manager...Classic and Collector Car Dealership
Charlotte, North Carolina
Base Salary + Commissions + Performance Bonuses
Estimated Annual Compensation: $130,000–$180,000
About the Position
Streetside Classics is the Nation’s #1 Consignment Dealer...providing buyers and sellers with the confidence that comes from working with one of the country’s largest and most successful classic-car dealerships.
We currently operate showrooms in Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Tampa, Nashville, and Phoenix...with additional growth planned. We are searching for a self-driven, goal-oriented, and experienced Inventory Manager to lead the Inventory Department at our flagship Charlotte showroom.
Our Charlotte facility holds approximately 300 classic and collector vehicles. The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining a steady flow of fresh, desirable, properly priced inventory to replace vehicles as they are sold. As a consignment dealership, the quality, volume, pricing, and freshness of our inventory directly drive the sales and revenue of the showroom.
This is both a production and leadership position. The Inventory Manager will personally work with prospective consignors while leading and developing the showroom’s Inventory Consultants. The IM and ICs operate as one team throughout the vehicle acquisition and intake process. The Inventory Manager provides coaching and support while developing each IC’s ability to independently evaluate vehicles, research the market, conduct consignor conversations, establish pricing and net-to-owner expectations, and bring quality inventory into the showroom.
The successful candidate will be a proven leader who can balance personal production with the responsibility of developing employees, managing department performance, and maintaining high standards throughout the entire intake process.
