Overview

The Senior Personal Lines Agent position is a hybrid sales + service role designed for someone who enjoys both advising and building relationships. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while managing and expanding our personal insurance portfolio. You will leverage your sales expertise, negotiation skills, and insurance knowledge to build lasting client relationships and promote our comprehensive suite of insurance products. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will drive growth and customer satisfaction within our agency. You’ll work in a supportive, team-first environment where collaboration matters, your voice is heard, and your growth is encouraged.

Duties

Develop new business through inbound quote requests, cross-selling the current book of business and reaching out to clients who previously called in for quotes.
Handle brokered personal lines policies and some small commercial if needed
Provide expert guidance to clients on personal insurance options
Negotiate policy terms and coverage options to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations
Manage client accounts using CRM systems to track interactions, policy details, and follow-up activities
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized service and ongoing communication
Collaborate with your team to deliver a high-quality client experience
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and product updates to provide accurate advice
Involved in training of new personal lines staff members

Qualifications

Five years of personal lines insurance experience
Active Property and Casualty licenses
Detail-oriented
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively
Knowledge of property casualty products
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM system management
Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable coverage options
Exceptional communication skills for client communication, client relationship building, and team collaboration
Knowledge of insurance regulation standards to ensure compliance in all transactions
