Hendrick Technical Solutions

Location: 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262

Summary: As required, manufacturing composite parts using predominantly pre-preg materials utilizing Industry Standard Lamination Techniques. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for finishing composite parts and assemblies.

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities include the following:

While using scissors, stir sticks, and razor blades, the Composites Technician may be responsible for molding carbon fiber material utilizing the bagging process to mold parts.
Breaking Out / Demolding cured parts
Responsible for utilizing hand tools, such as a handheld grinder, to shape/trim parts and molds to specifications
Always maintain a clean and organized work environment
Prepare Molds and pre-preg patterns for Production
Lamination of Composites components following drawings and or Lay-Up manuals
Preparing Laminated parts for Autoclave or Oven Curing utilizing vacuum bagging techniques
Loading and unloading Autoclaves
Adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
Pro-Active in parts development and improvements
Trimming / Finishing / Assembly of Composites Parts

Qualifications:

Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
IT Literate

Education/Experience:

Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of operating basic hand tools, is required. Ability to work safely with Composite materials and other related chemicals.
