Carolina Turf and Mosquito is growing, and we are looking for the right person to join our team.
We are a local, family-owned company serving residential customers throughout the Charlotte area. This is not a mowing position. Our technicians perform professional lawn treatments and mosquito control services on assigned routes.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced outdoor-service professional who is dependable, detail-oriented, and wants to grow into an independent, high-performing route technician.
Prior professional outdoor-service experience is required. This may include lawn care, turf treatment, pest control, landscaping, golf-course maintenance, route service, outdoor property maintenance, or similar hands-on field work.
Applicants with direct pesticide application, lawn treatment, pest control, or route service experience will receive priority consideration.

What You Will Do
As a Lawn Care and Mosquito Control Technician, you will help provide professional treatments for lawns and outdoor living spaces.
Responsibilities include:
Applying lawn care treatments safely and accurately
Performing mosquito control treatments around residential properties
Operating and maintaining spray equipment
Following product labels, safety procedures, and company standards
Taking clear notes after each service
Communicating professionally with customers when needed
Keeping your truck, equipment, and materials organized
Working independently once trained
Helping protect the quality and reputation of Carolina Turf and Mosquito

Experience Required
Prior professional outdoor-service experience is required, including one or more of the following:
Lawn care
Turf treatment
Pest control
Landscaping
Golf-course maintenance
Route service
Outdoor property maintenance
Similar hands-on field work
Applicants with direct pesticide application, lawn treatment, pest control, or route service experience will receive priority consideration.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Applicants must be insurable under the company’s commercial auto policy.
Reliable transportation to work
Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and changing weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Must be dependable and trustworthy
Must be willing to complete required background and driving checks

Compensation
This position starts with guaranteed hourly training pay while you learn the role.
Training pay is $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience.
After training, technicians move into a performance-based route pay structure with a guaranteed hourly floor and route revenue upside.
Typical annual earnings are $40,000 to $50,000+, with additional upside for strong route performance.
Annual earnings depend on training progress, production, quality, reliability, and route performance. This range is expected earning potential, not guaranteed starting pay.
The posted hourly range reflects training pay and estimated performance-based earnings converted to an hourly equivalent. This is not a guaranteed flat hourly rate after training.
