Full Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving customer reactivation, lead generation, installer prospecting, quote follow-up, and pipeline management within an assigned region. This role serves as the primary outbound sales and prospecting resource for the Commercial Sales team by identifying new business opportunities, re-engaging dormant customers, supporting Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), and maintaining accurate sales activity and customer intelligence within the CRM.

Success in this role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, disciplined follow-up, effective use of CRM and call management systems, and the ability to gather market insights that support Greenfiber's commercial growth strategy.

Customer Reactivation

Identify installers, distributors, and customer accounts that have reduced or discontinued purchasing activity and execute structured customer reactivation initiatives
Review internal sales reports and customer order history to identify inactive accounts based on established sales priorities and reactivation criteria
Research customer purchasing history, including products purchased, manufacturing location, order volume, and account trends to prepare for outreach
Contact inactive customers to understand current business needs, purchasing barriers, and reasons for reduced activity
Present product information, new offerings, promotions, and other solutions that encourage renewed business
Identify customer concerns related to pricing, product quality, service, or competitive activity and communicate findings to Sales Leadership
Escalate customer issues requiring additional support while maintaining ownership of follow-up activities.
Develop and maintain a prioritized customer reactivation pipeline in HubSpot with documented outreach history, next-action dates, and account status

Lead Generation & Prospecting

Build and manage an installer prospecting program focused on targeted outbound outreach within assigned territories
Research, qualify, and develop prospective installer and distributor accounts before transitioning qualified opportunities to Territory Sales Managers
Identify geographic, market segment, and customer coverage gaps and prioritize prospecting activities accordingly
Utilize CRM data, market information, and internal reporting to develop targeted call lists and outreach campaigns
Maintain consistent outbound calling, email communication, and follow-up activities to generate qualified sales opportunities

Pipeline & Sales Support

Follow up on open quotations to improve conversion rates and prevent opportunities from stalling
Maintain accurate and complete customer records, sales activities, pipeline updates, and opportunity status within HubSpot
Complete outbound and customer follow-up calls using the designated call management system
Monitor pipeline activity and identify opportunities requiring additional sales support or escalation
Track and measure customer contacts, reactivated accounts, qualified leads, quote activity, and sales pipeline progression
Prepare and provide regular reports summarizing customer reactivation efforts, qualified leads, quote conversion activity, customer issues, and market intelligence

Commercial Team Support

Serve as the outbound prospecting and customer reactivation resource for assigned Territory Sales Managers, allowing field sales representatives to focus on in-person customer engagement
Coordinate with Market Development Managers on builder outreach, new construction opportunities, and targeted market initiatives
Participate in commercial team meetings to review priorities, territory coverage, target accounts, and opportunity status
Maintain timely communication and accurate documentation to ensure visibility of customer activity across the commercial organization
Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers, Sales Leadership, Customer Service, and other internal departments to support customer satisfaction and business growth
Perform other related duties that may be assigned or associated with the responsibility of the position.

Required Skills & Abilities

Strong verbal communication and customer relationship-building skills
Ability to conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and customer follow-up activities
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
Ability to gather customer information, identify purchasing barriers, and recommend appropriate solutions
Ability to work collaboratively across sales, marketing, customer service, and leadership teams Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
4 year college degree preferred
Experience in inside sales, outbound sales, lead generation, customer reactivation, sales support, or customer service
Experience using CRM software to manage customer interactions, sales pipelines, and account activity. i.e. HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
Experience with 8x8 or other business call management systems
Experience supporting contractor, distributor, or building materials sales
Knowledge of insulation products, construction, distribution, or repair and remodel markets
Experience developing outbound prospecting campaigns and customer win-back initiatives.

Physical Requirements

Willingness to travel 25% of the time, with a valid driver’s license to engage with customers, attend events, and support field activities
Must reside within and maintain a regular physical presence in the assigned sales region to effectively sup-port customers and build strong business relationships
Ability to work 40+ hours including weekends when necessary
Ability to sit for long periods of time

Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
