SPPI is looking for Industrial Process Piping Foremen before our Project Managers start pole dancing to keep our customers entertained while we look for good guys like you! I don't know where y'all are working right now, or what you're doing, but stop and give us a minute even though you've probably never heard of us. We’ve been around for 43 years, so we’re doing something right. If you care about the quality of your work, have a strong understanding of safety requirements, hold your crews accountable, and understand the importance of JSAs, daily summaries and daily install drawings, then we might be your new best friend. (if you have an extensive arrest records, recent DUIs, think showing up 3 days/wk is enough, and/or have a strong aversion to paperwork, then this ad is NOT FOR YOU).
We need somebody who:
· Knows process piping
· Can run a crew without running everyone off
· Is well versed in TIG, stick, threaded pipe, PVC, copper, stainless, carbon steel, propress, megapress, transair, etc.
· Can read prints without turning them upside down
· Shows up more consistently than the guy that gets nicknamed E.T. (because he's always trying to go home.)
· Understands that paperwork is part of the job and not a human rights violation
MOST work is around Charlotte and NC/SC. Don't stress over our Peachland address... you'll rarely come out here, so the odds of being attacked by hillbillies while hearing banjos and pig references is very low.
We’re looking for REAL field experience, NOT:
Pipe curious
Future foreman mentality
I watched a welding video once
AI-generated resumes that read like a robot applying for NASA
We want somebody who can:
- Lead from the front
- Handle customers professionally
- Keep jobs moving
- Keep crews safe
- Solve problems without creating 4 new ones
- Do the stinking paperwork
- Stay strong when the job gets annoying
If you’re tired of:
companies with no organization
empty promises
no accountability
magicians as Project Managers (always disappearing)
…then let’s talk.
Top candidates will know the difference between:
“Done right”
and
“Good enough, nobody will notice.”
Apply today or share with somebody who actually answers their phone and can run a project.
Full transparency: per diem is not guaranteed on every project. If it’s out of town, fo sho, you get your daily dose of dollars. If it’s local, then it’s negotiated with the customer.
