Full Job Description

Flora Pettit PC, an AV rated law firm with offices in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, is seeking an accomplished attorney with 2–5 years of experience in civil litigation to join the firm’s practice in its Charlottesville, Virginia office. Successful candidates must be licensed to practice in Virginia, and have an interest and extensive background in civil litigation.

Candidates should be able to work on a team with other attorneys and staff, have strong interpersonal skills, and be hardworking, energetic and committed to their community. Flora Pettit values those who seek to work on challenging, high-level matters but also have an opportunity to engage with their community and their personal interests.

Flora Pettit attorneys represent clients across the full spectrum of business, litigation, and personal matters and have the knowledge and resources to provide meaningful and substantive legal advice to their clients across the range of the firm’s practice areas. Our attorneys are recognized by their peers for attaining the highest standards of the legal profession in both their legal work and their ethical commitment. This integrity serves as the basis for all of our service to our clients and is expected of all our attorneys and staff.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $135,000. Actual placement within this range will depend on the candidate's relevant experience, education, skills, and internal equity
