About us

Byler Law Group provides exceptional legal service to clients throughout Virginia in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and general civil litigation.

We are hiring an organized, detail-oriented legal assistant to provide support for a variety of traffic, criminal, and family law cases, with a strong focus on Wills. This individual will create legal documents, maintain case dockets and assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional with excellent writing, communication, and computer skills.

This is a part-time position in our Charlottesville office.

Candidates with experience working in a law practice or court will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

Manage incoming client calls.
Prepare legal documents and correspondence.
Communicate with clients, courts, law offices, and service providers.
Maintain organized and well-documented case files.
Assist in managing attorney calendars.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
