Full Job Description

Our Firm is known for its expertise of highly skilled lawyers and staff and is one of the best places to work in the legal field.

Marks & Harrison is seeking a full-time Personal Injury Attorney to join the team in our Charlottesville, VA office. We are also able to accommodate candidates who would prefer to be based in our offices located in Staunton, Harrisonburg, and potentially even Richmond. You must be actively licensed to practice law in Virginia in order to be considered for this position.

An ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

A license to practice law in Virginia
1-3 years’ litigation experience in personal injury
Proficient command of English, with excellent written and oral communication skills
Comfort learning and using case management software
The desire to connect with clients
The ability to work as a member of a team

The position provides a comprehensive incentive program in addition to salary and excellent benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. This is primarily a sedentary office classification although standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard and to operate standard office equipment. Positions in this classification occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push and pull drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
