Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of excellence. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals is served.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.
Participate in catering events as required, contributing to menu planning and execution.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods are advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
