Full Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dairy Manager to oversee our dairy department. The Dairy Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the dairy department, including inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in store management and possess excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the dairy department, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising dairy products
- Ensure accurate inventory control and minimize product waste
- Train and develop dairy department staff on product knowledge, customer service, and safety procedures
- Supervise and schedule employees to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts
- Monitor product quality and freshness to meet customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized dairy department in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other department managers to achieve overall store goals
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Dairy Manager or related position
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and supervise a team
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of dairy products, including proper handling and storage techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
