About the Role:

As a Painter Foreman at California Contemporary Coatings, you will lead a talented team of painters in delivering high-quality finishes for residential and commercial projects. Join us in creating beautiful spaces while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site!

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily painting operations and manage a team of skilled painters.
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Conduct site assessments and prepare surfaces for painting, including priming and finishing.
Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide updates.
Maintain inventory of painting supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
Implement and enforce safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
Assist in estimating project costs and timelines for bidding purposes.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a painter, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of painting techniques , tools, and materials.
Extensive knowledge in, but not limited to, stain color matching, glazing, specialty coatings, lime wash etc.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
Must have work tools
