Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting and HR Manager to lead our financial operations and human resources functions. This pivotal role combines expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and HR management to ensure the organization’s financial health and workforce excellence. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a passion for fostering a compliant and efficient workplace. Duties

Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, and payroll processing.
Lead the monthly and annual financial close processes; prepare detailed financial reports and statements for internal use.
Manage accounting systems and software to streamline operations, perform Excel data analysis, and generate accurate financial insights through spreadsheets.
Conduct variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Supervise daily activities, ensuring high standards of accuracy in account reconciliation, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping.
Oversee treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, accounts payable/receivable management.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
Lead HR responsibilities such as managing payroll processes, employee record keeping, benefits administration, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

Proven experience in accounting and human resources.
Expertise in financial concepts including balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and forecasting.
Proficiency with financial software systems (ERP or accounting software), spreadsheets (Excel data analysis), and advanced features such as pivot tables or macros.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical accounting functions like general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable processing, payroll management, and cash flow oversight.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy in account reconciliation and account analysis; strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
Effective leadership skills.
Strong communication skills for preparing clear financial reports.
