Full-Time | In-Person | Flexible Schedule

Blue Sky Cabin Rentals is looking for an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Ellijay.

This is an important position within our company and is responsible for helping keep the financial side of our day-to-day operations organized and running smoothly. We are looking for someone who is confident with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and can manage their responsibilities independently while still being part of a close-knit team.

One of the biggest benefits of this position is flexibility. While this is an in-office role, the work schedule is very flexible. We care more about finding the right person who is dependable, gets the job done, and meets important deadlines than requiring a rigid 8-to-5 schedule.

What You'll Be Doing

Handling day-to-day bookkeeping for the company
Processing payroll and maintaining payroll records
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
Processing and reviewing invoices and vendor payments
Assisting with monthly property owner statements and payments
Reconciling reservation revenue and payments
Tracking and posting property-related expenses
Reviewing transactions for accuracy
Researching and correcting accounting discrepancies
Maintaining organized financial records
Assisting with month-end accounting and reconciliations
Preparing financial reports for management
Working with our CPA and other financial partners as needed
Keeping up with recurring accounting deadlines and responsibilities

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in bookkeeping or accounting
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Dependable and able to meet deadlines
Comfortable working independently
Able to manage multiple responsibilities at once
Confident with payroll, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Able to learn new programs and systems
Professional when handling confidential company, employee, and financial information
Someone who notices when something doesn't look right and takes the initiative to figure it out

Experience in property management, vacation rentals, hospitality, or owner accounting is a plus, but it is not required.

Blue Sky Cabin Rentals has been serving the North Georgia Mountains since 2004. We are a locally operated vacation rental management company serving the Ellijay and Blue Ridge areas.

We have a busy operation and a great team of people who work together to take care of our property owners, guests, and properties. We are looking for someone who wants to become a dependable, long-term part of our team.
