ABOUT THE ROLE
ASC Process Systems is looking for a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting, fixing equipment, and keeping things running smoothly. This role works across our manufacturing facility performing preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

You’ll work on everything from compressors, forklifts, lifts, and shop equipment to MIG/TIG welders, grinders, saws, electrical systems, air lines, and water lines. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being the go-to person who can fix just about anything.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, repair or replace broken parts.
Inspects and checks fluids on compressors, forklifts, boom-lifts, scissor lifts, and cutting equipment.
Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records ofscheduled maintenance procedures.
Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring, as needed. May install computer cable.
Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures.
May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.
Install/Repair air lines and waterlines provided in the shop.
Repair MIG, TIG and Arc Weld Machines, grinders and saws.
Performs other maintenance or facilities tasks as required
Troubleshoots issues with equipment, electrical & mechanical.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
High school diploma or GED required
Comfortable using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, reach, crouch, and climb for extended periods
Comfortable working on uneven surfaces and performing overhead work using proper fall protection
