Company Overview

Master Machine, LLC is a precision machining and fabrication company headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee and part of Fusion Enterprises. The company provides high-specification components and fabrication services to the nuclear energy, defense, and critical infrastructure sectors, maintaining certifications including ASME Section III, ASME Section VIII, NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and 10 CFR 71 Subpart H.

As the U.S. nuclear industry enters a period of expansion, Master Machine is scaling its operations to support major national energy and defense initiatives.

This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality assurance system / department.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in welding symbols, codes and standards interpretation.
Knowledge and experience in NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, ANSI N45.2, and ASME BPVC Section VIII, ASME BPVC Section III and VIII quality requriements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate quality and technical requirements.
Experience implementing quality assurance programmatic controls in a growing business.

Preferred Experience:

AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification..
ASNT-TC-1A Level II VT and PT certification.
Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
Minimum 2 years of practical experience working with nuclear QA codes and standards.
Machinist or fabricator experience.
Bachelor’s degree or related experience in technical field.
Nuclear commercial grade dedication experience.
Experience in aerospace (AS 9100) QMS quality department.

Physical Requirements:

Heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Walking, Standing, Reaching, Stooping, Crouching, Climbing
Flexible hours to meet emergent customer needs
