Full Job Description

Kendall Square CrossFit & Cambridge Athletic Club | Cambridge, MA

Due to continued growth, we are looking to add 1-2 experienced coaches to our team immediately.

We are primarily seeking experienced CrossFit, strength & conditioning, and group fitness coaches. Personal training opportunities are available immediately and expand significantly as client relationships are built.

Kendall Square CrossFit and Cambridge Athletic Club operate four fitness facilities throughout Cambridge, including our flagship CrossFit location in Kendall Square. This position is ideal for a coach who already knows how to lead a room, connect with people, and deliver an exceptional member experience.

Please Do Not Apply If:

You have never consistently coached group fitness classes.
You are unavailable for either early morning or evening coaching shifts.
You are looking for your first coaching position.

What You'll Do

Coach CrossFit classes
Coach Olympic Weightlifting classes
Coach HYROX Hybrid training classes
Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions
Build strong relationships with members and clients
Deliver a professional, welcoming, and engaging coaching experience

Compensation

CrossFit, HYROX, Olympic Lifting, and Specialty Classes: $30 per class
Personal Training Sessions: Up to $55 per session

Schedule & Growth Opportunity

Morning coaching shifts available immediately
Evening coaching shifts available immediately
Flexible scheduling options
Part-time position to start
Opportunity to grow into a 30+ hour per week role

In the first 90 days, coaches can expect approximately:

40% Group Coaching
60% Personal Training

As client demand grows, successful coaches typically transition toward:

25-30% Group Coaching
70-75% Personal Training

Preferred Qualifications

CrossFit coaching experience
Strength & conditioning coaching experience
Personal training experience
Olympic lifting coaching experience
Current CPR/AED certification
Nationally recognized certification (NSCA, NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, etc.)
