Senior Applications Developer

SENIOR DEVELOPER / PROGRAMMER
Andover, MA

Based in Andover, we're an industry leader manufacturing products for customers in highly regulated industrial and infrastructure markets carrying between $35-50 million worth of product at any given time.

If you're a Senior Developer with RPG and Full Lifecycle experience, please read on!

Role and Responsibilities:

Participate in all aspects of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support
Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using RPG within an enterprise ERP environment
Ensure production stability by managing code migrations and supporting 24/7 manufacturing and warehouse operations
Maintain and enhance system integrations between core ERP platforms and internal/external applications, including APIs and interfaces
Develop and execute test plans in QA/UAT environments to ensure data integrity, system performance, and successful deployments
Partner with operations and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve system efficiency and performance

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of software development experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Strong proficiency in RPG
Experience working with ERP systems, including customizations and system integrations
Hands-on experience including version control, testing, and production support
Strong understanding of QA/UAT and production environments to ensure system reliability and uptime
