Full Job Description

CNC Mill Machinist

Location: Pennsauken, NJ
Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25 – $38/Hour
Drug Test: None
Background Check: None

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join our shop. This is a full-time, 1st shift opportunity for a mechanically skilled and dependable machinist with strong experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation.

Fluent knowledge of CNC programming using CAM software is essential for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

Program CNC machines and assist operators with setup and operation.
Set up and operate multiple CNC machines.
Inspect finished products and verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, machining sequences, and setup requirements.
Follow written and verbal procedures for machining operations.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving machining or equipment issues.
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area.

Required Qualifications

3–5 years of CNC machining experience.
Strong experience with CNC programming, setup, and operation.
Experience working on multiple CNC machines.
Fluent knowledge of CAM software and CNC programming.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

CNC mill experience.
Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
Experience producing custom or high-precision parts.
Knowledge of manual machining or other manufacturing equipment.
Large horizontal boring mill experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Occasional bending, kneeling, and climbing.
Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
