Full Job Description

Med Tech Clinical Laboratory seeks an experienced Mobile Phlebotomist who has a passion for caring for people and has a minimum of two years experience.

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be assigned to Southern New Jersey region and will be responsible for the procurement of blood and other laboratory specimens from home-bound patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL

The Mobile Phlebotomist will provide patients with the highest level of care.
Uphold the highest level of ethical behavior.
Follow policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by Med Tech and our partners.
Procure blood and other laboratory specimens from patients utilizing standard venipuncture (and other appropriate) procedures.
Process specimens (centrifuge, pipette, and freeze when required).
Transport specimens to drop off locations for processing
Salary is $18.00 to $22.00 per draw.

Qualifications

Mobile phlebotomy experience or willingness to travel within <Southern New Jersey> to collect and draw lab samples
Proficiency in phlebotomy, venipuncture, specimen collection/processing, and patient care
Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs, and basic physiology
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and clinical laboratory environments
Strong patient service, communication, and ethical standards; ability to work independently and as part of a care team
Hospital or clinical setting experience preferred; ability to operate standard lab equipment and ensure specimen integrity
