Role Description

On-site Pharmacist role based in Cherry Hill, NJ. The Pharmacist will verify, dispense, and check prescriptions for long-term care residents, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders for appropriateness, detecting potential drug interactions, and consulting with prescribers and nursing staff on therapeutic alternatives. The Pharmacist will counsel facility staff on medication usage, storage, and administration, and help resolve medication-related issues in a timely manner. Additional duties include overseeing pharmacy technicians, maintaining accurate records, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and contributing to workflow optimization to meet service-level expectations for partner facilities.

Scheduled Hours would be 9AM to 6PM 3-4 Days a week and every third weekend.

Pay Rate Starting at 60 per hour.

Qualifications

Strong clinical pharmacy skills, including medication therapy management, drug interaction screening, and knowledge of geriatric pharmacotherapy.
Proficiency with pharmacy information systems, e-prescribing platforms, and automated dispensing processes used in long-term care environments. Familiarity with QS1 or SuiteRX systems is preferred.
Thorough understanding of federal and state pharmacy regulations, controlled substance laws, and long-term care regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with prescribers, nurses, caregivers, and internal pharmacy team members.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume dispensing setting.
Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of New Jersey in good standing (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
Previous experience in long-term care, institutional, or clinical pharmacy is preferred, but candidates with strong transferrable experience will be considered.
Willingness to work on site in Cherry Hill, NJ with flexible scheduling as needed to support resident care and operational needs.

Pay: $60.00 per hour
