The Virginia Beach Field House is Virginia’s premier indoor sports facility. With over 175,000 square feet, we offer leagues, camps, clinics, and tournaments for youth and adults in soccer, flag football, volleyball, basketball, arena (indoor) baseball and softball, field hockey, lacrosse, dodge ball, sand volleyball, sand flag football, sand soccer and other social sports. We also host birthday and team parties, corporate events, and other organized activities. The Virginia Beach Field House has 6 turf fields, 8 regulation volleyball courts, 4 basketball courts, 8 sand volleyball courts, 2 sand fields, multiple party rooms, an arcade, and an indoor Fun Zone. Guests are encouraged to visit our fully stocked food court and lounge. In addition, we proudly carry several beers on tap and by the bottle for those patrons over 21 years of age who enjoy adult beverages. We have full locker rooms with day lockers and showers. The Youth Soccer Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development, organization, delivery and administration of youth soccer leagues, recreational programs, and activities targeted toward youth soccer. The Youth Soccer Coordinator assists in the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of the youth soccer program staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the development, organization, delivery and administration of youth soccer leagues, tournaments, recreational programs, activities and awards.
Assist in planning, organize, schedule, and direct all games, facilities, officials, and scorekeepers for youth soccer programs and activities
Assist in the recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, training, development and supervision of the soccer sport team members
Ensure a high level of customer service for all program participants
Ensures that program standards are met
Provides data and reports for programs as needed
Assist in producing and managing the program budget to ensure revenue and program service goals are achieved.
Assist the Lil Kickers coaches with program planning, instructing, supervision and a mentor for the program.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by supervisory personnel (Soccer Tournament Directors, Manager on Duty, etc.) along with the Youth Programs Director, Sports Director and/or the General Manager

Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing, implementing, scheduling and evaluating soccer recreation programs
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience
Detail oriented and posses strong organizational skills
Knowledge of rules in soccer/sports recreation program activities
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Creative thinker with a history of applying innovation in programming
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build community relationships
Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
