Role Summary

Our Hartford, CT facility is looking for a talented CNC 5-Axis Programmer to help drive our production excellence. We invite you to apply your technical skills in complex programming to support our work across the Aerospace, Defense, Firearms, and Medical sectors. By utilizing advanced Mastercam software, you will play a key role in manufacturing precision components that satisfy rigorous client requirements within our supportive and collaborative shop environment.

Core Duties

Create and refine 5-axis CNC programs using Mastercam to maximize operational output.
Manage the setup and operation of CNC lathes to manufacture high-tolerance components.
Work alongside engineering and production staff to guarantee that programs are both accurate and streamlined.
Verify that finished parts adhere to strict quality standards through thorough inspections.
Identify and fix programming or machining errors to keep production moving smoothly.
Keep detailed records of all program setups and modifications for ongoing process improvement.
Keep pace with emerging industry developments and new CNC technologies.

Required Skills and Experience

Demonstrated background in 5-axis CNC programming.
Expertise in utilizing Mastercam for CAM applications.
Deep knowledge of CNC lathe functions and core machining concepts.
Ability to accurately analyze and translate complex technical blueprints and schematics.
Strong analytical capabilities to solve production challenges with precision.
Effective interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and clear communication.
Completion of high school or equivalent, with preference given to those holding technical certifications.
