Client Overview:
Our client is a well-established pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and delivering high-quality healthcare solutions. They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support their growing accounting team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr - $22/hr

Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to assist with day-to-day AR functions, including processing customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 1 - 2 years of accounting experience who is looking to advance their career in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk:

Process and post customer payments accurately and promptly.
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Generate invoices, credit memos, and account statements.
Maintain accurate customer account records.
Assist with month-end closing and AR reporting.
Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills of the Accounts Receivable Clerk:

1+ year of Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Billing, or Finance experience (internships considered).
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounts Receivable Clerk:

Experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Experience with cash applications, collections, or account reconciliations.
Recent college graduates with accounting internships are encouraged to apply.

Education Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
