Full Job Description

Take your passion for helping students thrive and put your expertise to work as a dedicated school-based Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting students from Pre-K (3k) to 12th grade across a diverse caseload, tailoring your approach for various ability levels. The role spans multiple attendance areas, providing services throughout the school year.

Key Experience and Skills:

Valid state licensure and credentials as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
Proficiency in conducting screenings, assessments, and developing treatment plans
Strong knowledge of IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes
Collaborative skills for working alongside teachers, support staff, and families
Excellent organizational and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services to students based on individualized needs
Complete comprehensive screenings and evaluations to identify those requiring intervention
Develop and implement effective IEP goals and participate in meetings
Consult with educators and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into classrooms
Adapt intervention techniques for a spectrum of ability levels and environments
Maintain diligent records and adhere to requirements for compliance
Travel between multiple school sites within the assigned attendance areas as needed

This full-time position, working Monday through Friday for approximately 37-40 hours weekly, provides a consistent schedule during the academic year (July 22, 2026 – May 28, 2027). You’ll engage with students in several communities, fostering motor and life skills that contribute to academic and personal success.
