Full Job Description

Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center is hiring a Scheduler!

Monday - Friday only. No nights, weekends, calls, or holidays

Welcome to Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center

At Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center, we believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high-quality, service-oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, and related outpatient procedures

Scheduler at Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center:

Plans and schedules for surgical and related appointments for doctors. Manages certain functions related to Credentialing of professional staff members for the facility by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintains master schedule to ensure coordination between doctors, anesthesia, lab and insurance carriers.
Schedule surgeries, coordinates schedule between Surgery Center and doctor''s offices.
Gathers all detailed information for the patient''s chart, such as type of procedure, supplies, special equipment required, insurance information, etc.
Provides relief for the front business office, Receptionist and all other business functions, as needed.

Qualifications

High School education and/or equivalent
Up to one year of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary Range: Min $22.69 to Max $32.90. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
