Summary

The PRIMEDIA Network is the nation's largest media advertising network.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Email Marketing Expert to elevate our digital marketing efforts through innovative email campaigns and strategic automation. In this role, you will develop compelling email content, implement targeted segmentation strategies, and analyze campaign performance to maximize engagement and conversions. Your expertise will help us build stronger relationships with our audience, optimize marketing initiatives, and drive measurable growth across our digital channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Duties

Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing goals, including designing engaging email content and layouts using tools like Adobe Photoshop and HTML/CSS.
Manage end-to-end email campaign management, including segmentation, scheduling, testing (A/B testing), and deployment through email marketing software such as Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or HubSpot.
Utilize customer segmentation techniques to tailor messaging for diverse audience groups, enhancing personalization and engagement.
Implement and optimize marketing automation tools to streamline workflows, nurture leads, and improve campaign efficiency.
Conduct detailed email marketing analysis using web analytics reporting tools like Google Analytics and web analytics platforms to monitor performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.
Perform data-driven decision making by analyzing marketing analytics data to refine strategies, improve targeting accuracy, and increase campaign effectiveness.
Conduct research on marketing controlled experiments to identify the most effective tactics for email content marketing, including testing subject lines, visuals, send times, and call-to-actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital marketing projects to ensure cohesive messaging across channels while managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Maintain compliance with privacy laws and best practices for email marketing while ensuring deliverability and list hygiene.

Qualifications

Proven experience in email marketing strategy development and execution within a digital marketing environment.
Strong proficiency with email marketing software such as Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or HubSpot.
Skilled in customer segmentation techniques using SQL or CRM tools like Salesforce or Pardot for targeted campaigns.
Expertise in HTML and CSS for customizing email templates and troubleshooting rendering issues across devices.
Experience with web analytics reporting tools including Google Analytics and other digital performance monitoring platforms.
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms like Marketo or Pardot for implementing automated workflows.
Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and data analysis to optimize campaign performance continuously.
Ability to craft compelling copywriting tailored for email content marketing that resonates with diverse audiences.
Strong project management skills to handle multiple campaigns efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making; experience with SQL is a plus.
E-commerce experience is preferred but not required; familiarity with digital marketing metrics is essential.
