Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Ambulatory Services to lead and optimize outpatient healthcare operations within our organization. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical workflows, managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving excellence in patient care delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management, medical office administration, and fiscal oversight, with a passion for fostering a patient-centered environment that promotes efficiency, quality, and innovation. As a key leader, you will shape the future of ambulatory services by implementing best practices, managing budgets, and ensuring seamless integration of electronic health records systems to support outstanding clinical outcomes.

Manages and conducts ambulatory service operations, including:

Fiscal operations (accounting, planning budgets, authorizing expenditures, establishing rates for services, and coordinating financial reporting);
Real estate management (allocation, pricing, assignment and coordination of physician office space, lease arrangements);
All Provider revenue cycle activities.
Supports and helps maintain effective physician relationships
Collaborates with VP of Business Development and Service integration to identify and implement opportunities to market to/recruit new providers and optimize activity of current providers,
Collaborates with Ambulatory Services Medical Director to enhance provider communication and coordination
Supports program development and expansion
Collaborates with VP of Business Development and Service Integration to identify opportunities to develop/expand service programs, including applying strategic analysis to guide program development activities
Collaborates with Ambulatory Services Medical Director to implement medical programs or health services, and evaluate their effectiveness on an ongoing basis. Directs or conducts recruitment, hiring and training of technical, and clerical personnel. Directs, supervises, evaluates work activities of these staff and establishes/ oversees their work schedules and assignments.
Maintains awareness of advances in medicine, computerized diagnostic and treatment equipment, data processing technology, government regulations, health insurance changes, and financing options.
Develops and implements appropriate ambulatory service policies and procedures
Structures, prepares and analyzes service and activity data
informs management of the status and implementation plans or programs, services initiatives
Identifies opportunities for improvement based on analytic results
Collaborates with VP of Business Development and Service Integration and Ambulatory Services Medical Director to assess program and service financial, operational and clinical performance, identifies and implements opportunities for improvement
Collaborates with VP of Business Development and Service integration to identify to improve service efficiency and effectiveness by coordinating resources and activities across ambulatory and clinic services9. Supports Ambulatory Service Medical Director to implements programs and measures to ensure quality of care and a continual state of regulator}, readiness.
Manages and coordinates external reporting (regulatory, payor, etc)

Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. A passion for working with Community based clinics, energy and enthusiasm in working in a clinic environment.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
