Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Pattern Sample Maker/Seamtress to join our dynamic fashion production team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise pattern samples and executing sewing tasks that bring design concepts to life. Your expertise will ensure that each sample reflects the designer’s vision with impeccable craftsmanship and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative garment development in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

Interpret design sketches and technical specifications to develop accurate pattern samples for prototypes and production
Cut fabric and assemble garments using sewing machines, ensuring precision and adherence to measurements
Construct garment samples from start to finish, maintaining high standards of garment construction and finishing
Collaborate with designers and production teams to refine patterns and troubleshoot construction issues
Maintain organized workspaces in the manufacturing or warehouse environment, ensuring efficient workflow
Review finished samples for quality, fit, and consistency, making adjustments as needed
Follow safety protocols when operating sewing machines and handling materials

Experience

Proven experience in garment construction and sewing, with a strong portfolio of pattern making and sample creation
Skilled in operating various sewing machines with precision and efficiency
Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to apparel production
Previous warehouse or production environment experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work in fast-paced settings
Familiarity with pattern drafting software or manual pattern-making techniques is advantageous
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
