Full Job Description

If you are looking to take your career in an exciting direction, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you! Kinnick Medical Ltd. has an immediate opening for a full-time Field Staff Coordinator in the western suburbs of Chicago. You will gain a unique professional business experience working directly in various sports orthopedic/spine/pain practices to oversee a staff of 10+ clinical coordinators. This position will be hands on with our field staff, as well the Kinnick Medical executive team, to ensure continuity of goals to help achieve exceptional patient care and practice relationships. You will be managing multiple satellite locations that will require local daily travel.

Kinnick Medical is a growing Chicago based company that provides management and administration of services and durable medical equipment (DME) to orthopedic, pain and spine practices throughout the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities Include:

· Evaluate and interview prospective candidates, as well as manage staffing issues, including termination

· Assess and implement performance management, as well as professional growth, of the clinical staff team within your assigned team (+- 10 direct reports)

· Coordinate staff schedules to maintain adequate clinic coverage and optimize patient flow

· Manage weekly staffing emails and handle daily staffing adjustments

· Provide clinic coverage, as needed, to support your team and ensure seamless coverage

· Lead training initiatives and professional coaching to develop clinical staff within assigned clinics

· Promote and maintains a professional and positive work environment

· Oversee quality assurance initiatives

· Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Candidate Requirements:

· Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills

· Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time management skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR)

· Ability to travel, as needed for supervision, clinical coverage, and staff gatherings

Education and Experience

· A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field required.

· Minimum of demonstrated two (2) years of experience in supervisory role

· Proven experience in a healthcare management role (Preferred)

· Effective communication, exceptional overall writing skills, and excellent organization skills

· Ability to gather, analyze and exchange data, working independently and in collaboration with field staff and executive teams

· Strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy

· Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while handling sensitive and confidential materials
