Concierge – Monday – Friday, 11 am – 8 pm $26-$27 -

As a Concierge, your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests. You will serve as the main point of contact for guests, assisting with inquiries, providing information, and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their stay. From arranging reservations to coordinating special requests, your role is crucial in ensuring that guests have a delightful and stress-free experience during their time at our establishment. Your proactive approach, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of local attractions will contribute to making their stay truly exceptional. This role reports the Client Relations Manager.

Position: Opensity Solutions Concierge
Shift: Full-Time | 11 am – 8 pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Chicago, IL 60606
Pay Rate: $26-$27 | 40 hours per week

Job Summary:

Provide outstanding service to customers by ensuring the customer needs and requests as it relates to the Concierge department exceed the expectations as governed by firms' philosophy of customer service.

Responsibilities:

Concierge position provides elevated "concierge style" customer service and is responsible for taking care of all conference room, shared office spaces (hoteling) client meeting rooms, visitor offices and common areas at a client location.
Hoteling includes scheduling use of shared offices and meeting spaces for clients and visitors to firm and setting up shared spaces/workstations with necessary equipment and supplies.
Hospitality Services includes coordinator and upkeep of client conference rooms, common areas and offices. Perform walk through of floors to Inspect and ensure that all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for continual use.
Organize and manage IT requests for shared office spaces and meeting rooms. Maintain inventory control of shared office spaces and order supplies as needed.
Floor Coordination includes the upkeep of copy rooms and stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance.
Responsible for providing excellent client service when greeting all guests.
Being the first point of contact for our clients, providing hospitality (including handling customers’ complaints and inquiries) and concierge services.
Ensure that all facilities in the location (meeting rooms, business lounge, offices, etc.) are ready for our clients throughout the day.
Maintain constant and continuous lines of communication with the Site Manager on all issues related to the operation of the department.
Maintain neatness and organization of concierge area(s) with various duties as outlined by the Site Manager.
Make special preparations for all clients who visit your Site Location.
Coordinate and monitor general access supply areas including hospitality and office supplies in the firm by managing inventory and par levels.
Ensure special requests for clients are coordinated.
Assist other departments by providing support to essential areas including Records, Office Services and Facilities.

Required Characteristics & Credentials:

Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve customer problems quickly and effectively.
A professional manner and attitude.
Impeccable guest service.
Eye for detail; organized, accurately checking processes and tasks.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
Requires a working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1-year professional level work experience.
Previous experience in a client service-oriented field.
Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Self-motivated; can work independently.

Physical Requirements:

Walking, bending, reading, kneeling, standing, sitting.
Speaking, reading and hearing.
Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 40lb.
Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.

The Compensation range for this role is 20.00 to 26.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
