Full Job Description

High Fidelity Property Management is a rapidly growing Chicago-based firm managing over 1,200 units across the city. We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager who is committed to building a long-term career in property management.

This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work alongside a collaborative team of Assistant Property Managers, Leasing Agents, and Maintenance Technicians to deliver an exceptional experience for both residents and property owners.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage a portfolio of residential properties across Chicago
Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants and property owners
Coordinate maintenance requests with in-house technicians and external vendors
Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and unit turns
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports and task tracking
Address and resolve resident concerns in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with leasing, maintenance, and operations teams
Assist with onboarding new properties into the portfolio
Organize and maintain reports and documentation
Occasionally visit properties for inspections
Periodically assist with after-hours maintenance coordination

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role where strong organization and follow-through are key.

What We’re Looking For

Resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational skills
Professional, positive, and solution-oriented attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2+ years of property management experience preferred
Maintenance knowledge is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning platforms such as Buildium, Asana, and Google Workspace
College degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits

$50,000 – $60,000 salary (based on experience)
