Hourly Pay Range:

$19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Position: Laboratory Assistant II
Location: Swedish Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

What you will do:

Triage and accession cytology and surgical specimens
Process gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimen using various processing and staining techniques and equipment
Provide customer support as a technical liaison for the cytology and surgical pathology laboratory for inquiries
Support specimen send outs by completing patient sample requests, and filing slides as back up to administrative assistant
Maintain a clean laboratory station and work alongside team to manage the inventory, QA logs, equipment functions, and troubleshoot issues in the laboratory with the supervisor

What you will need:

Education: HS Diploma or GED Required/ College degree preferably in science
Certification: N/A
Experience: N/A
Unique or Preferred Skills: Laboratory experience preferred
