Primary responsibilities include:
Understand from several points of view and align Siebel systems and processes to address critical Sales and Marketing information and automation requirements.
Work directly with Sales and Marketing counterparts and end users to execute and deliver change management programs. Participate in all phases of the IT Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Act as a liaison between developers and business team members. Provide timely project status updates to the Project Manager; identify/report project risks as early as possible and proactively mitigating project risks as identified. Provide expert knowledge of cross-functional and business processes and Siebel systems. Require little management direction, and handle extremely complex problems.
Establish, develop and maintain relationships with the business or function at a senior level. Communicate essential information in a timely manner. Deliver presentations, facilitate and address issues at a senior management level. Guide, mentor and motivate project team members to think more broadly related to cross-functional/business processes.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred or relevant work experience in business system applications or related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing system applications to solve business problems and 3+ years of hands-on experience with large/enterprise Siebel applications (both Siebel on Premise and Siebel on Demand) are required.
Candidates must be experts in documenting and presenting Siebel Out-of-the-Box business process model to IT and Business and create new data map/model based on client additional CRM requirements and also have proven-business process background in the areas of Contact Management, Lead Management, Opportunity Management, and Marketing Information Management.
Candidates must have a good understanding of workflow, assignment manager, and overall Siebel administrative functionalities.
Solid business acumen and ability to effectively communicate IT needs, questions, and feedback to non-IT team members/customers and vice-versa are essential. Expert analytical skills, strong people skills are also required. Candidates must have an extensive understanding of the role of business/function supported and have exceptional problem solving skills and communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills. Candidates must be detailed oriented and have leadership skills/aptitude.
