Full Job Description

We are a growing food-grade third-party logistics (3PL) company serving many of the nation's leading food manufacturers and ingredient companies. As we expand our operations into multiple facilities, we are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to help lead the next phase of our growth.

We are looking for a leader who enjoys building organizations, developing people, improving processes, and creating scalable operations. You will work directly with ownership and become a key member of our leadership team.

What You'll Do

Lead Operations Supervisors, Warehouse Supervisors, and warehouse teams across multiple facilities.
Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Develop managers and future leaders.
Improve warehouse performance through SOP development, KPIs, and process improvement.
Oversee inventory accuracy, receiving, shipping, labor efficiency, and operational excellence.
Partner with ownership on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and new customer implementations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while professionally handling escalated issues.
Ensure compliance with food-grade warehouse standards, GMPs, and BRCGS requirements.
Drive a safe, organized, and customer-focused operation.

Qualifications

7+ years leading warehouse, distribution, or 3PL operations.
Experience managing managers, supervisors, and multiple warehouse teams.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
Proven ability to improve operational performance through systems and process improvement.
Strong business judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Food-grade warehouse or contract logistics experience is highly preferred.

What We Offer

Base Salary: $90,000 per year
