The position of dishwasher maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensures that all dishes, utensils, glassware and pots are washed and properly cleaned. The position also assures that the cleaned inventory of such items is maintained for use in the restaurant.

- Wash all dishes, pots and pans

Follow company and equipment standards

Assist with receiving and stocking as requested

Empty and clean garbage cans in the kitchen

Sweep and mop kitchen floors when needed

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen walls and shelves and cleanliness of overall kitchen

Assist with preparation of any production items, (peel potatoes, onions etc.)

Remove dirty pots/pans from the cooks’ line

Sweep and mop cooler floors

Break down boxes before putting in the dumpster

Keep dumpster area clean

Break down and clean dish machine on a daily basis

Clean dish table, over and under shelf

Keep glass racks and dish racks clean and organized

Maintain a clean uniform throughout the shift

May perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor or Chef

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. No experience required.
Ability to communicate verbally with other kitchen staff in fast-paced environment; ability to frequently use hands and fingers to feel, pull, push, and lift; ability to stand for long periods of time and frequently lift up to 50 lbs; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow instructions and procedures.
