Full Job Description

Bookkeeper / Administrative Manager

Established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Administrative Manager to join our team.

We are looking for a seasoned, dependable professional who is comfortable working independently and handling a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, human resources, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable (A/P) process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliation.
Perform cash applications and other Accounts Receivable (A/R) activities.
Participate in the month-end closing process.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Reconcile company credit card purchases and statements.
Assist with payroll processing and related payroll administration.
Track and maintain records for PTO, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
Maintain accurate employee and administrative records.
Handle general front-office responsibilities, including answering phones, opening and distributing mail, and assisting visitors as needed.
Assist management with various accounting, HR, and administrative projects.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and office administration required.
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
Experience with payroll processing and basic HR administration preferred.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
