- Master's degree from an ALA-accredited program (or equivalent) required. Bachelor’s and/or second master’s degree in a field related to science or data preferred.
- Two (2) years of professional library experience, including at least one year of instruction and reference services or research support in an academic library required.
- Coursework or demonstrated knowledge and experience with data services, with particular focus on research practices relating to data discovery, data information literacy, geographic information systems, and data management.
- Familiarity with scientific research practices and science information resources in multiple formats. Experience working with science faculty, students and/or researchers in an academic library setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and effectively interact with people across cultural identities and foster an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment.
- Knowledge of national and international trends in scholarly communication and data services.
- Familiarity with data management requirements of federal agencies

The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $62,000 to $68,964.97.
The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
