About the Role:

The Production Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing process by managing and coordinating production documentation and schedules. This position is responsible for processing sales and purchase orders accurately, maintaining up-to-date production schedules, and supporting quality control initiatives to meet company standards. The Production Clerk acts as a liaison between production teams, sales departments, and suppliers to facilitate timely communication and order fulfillment. By maintaining meticulous document control and data entry practices, the Production Clerk helps prevent errors and delays in the production line. Ultimately, this role contributes to optimizing production workflows and supporting overall operational excellence within the manufacturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a production or manufacturing clerical role.
Proficiency in data entry and document control processes.
Familiarity with processing sales and purchase orders.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree or higher in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
Experience working with production scheduling software or ERP systems.
Knowledge of quality control procedures within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced production setting.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Process and verify sales orders and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Maintain and update production schedules to align with manufacturing capacity and delivery deadlines.
Perform data entry tasks related to production documentation, including quality control records and inventory tracking.
Coordinate with production line supervisors and quality control teams to monitor order progress and resolve discrepancies.
Manage document control systems to ensure all production-related paperwork is organized, accessible, and compliant with company policies.
