Full Job Description

Position: Production IT Coordinator (Manufacturing Experience Required)
Pay Rate: $24-$28/hr
Location: Bedford Park, IL
Schedule: Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional duties may be assigned.

Manage and maintain all electronic tracking and planning systems, including Smartsheets and Google Workspace.
Ensure tracking resources, schedules, and planning tools remain organized, accurate, and accessible to all team members.
Support intra-company communication through collaboration and automation platforms.
Develop, maintain, and improve reporting systems that provide meaningful production and tracking data.
Facilitate regular automated reporting and promote accountability through tracking and collaboration tools.
Continuously improve planning and tracking platforms based on operational needs and management feedback.
Provide IT support for hardware, software, servers, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot technical problems and escalate complex issues to external IT consultants when necessary.
Maintain inventory and deployment of laptops, tablets, PCs, and related hardware.
Coordinate acquisition of new hardware and ensure equipment meets operational requirements.
Become a subject matter expert in Smartsheets, Google Workspace, and related production support systems.
Identify, document, and report nonconformances in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, company quality policies, and related procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of IT hardware, software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong spreadsheet, database, and reporting skills.
Experience with Smartsheets and Google Workspace preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Effective project management and communication skills.
Experience supporting production or manufacturing environments preferred.
