Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in diagnostic imaging techniques, including MRI procedures, and demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and comfort. As an MRI Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment, perform diagnostic scans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate results that inform patient care.

Duties

Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort while adhering to safety protocols.
Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to capture detailed images of internal body structures for diagnostic purposes.
Conduct specialized scans such as CT (Computed Tomography), DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scans, and sonography when required.
Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Analyze images for quality and clarity, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards before submission for review.
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results accurately and efficiently.
Keep detailed records of procedures performed, equipment maintenance, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques through ongoing education.

Skills

Proficiency in operating MRI machines along with experience in CT, DEXA scans, and sonography modalities.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
Ability to apply aseptic techniques rigorously to prevent infection risks during procedures.
Familiarity with medical imaging software and diagnostic evaluation processes.
Excellent understanding of anatomy knowledge necessary for accurate image acquisition and interpretation.
Effective communication skills for explaining procedures clearly to patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
