Build a Career in Assisted Stretching & Mobility at StretchLab Wheaton
StretchLab Wheaton is looking for a career-minded fitness or wellness professional to join our team as a Flexologist.
This is an opportunity for someone with a qualifying background in fitness, exercise science, kinesiology, personal training, strength and conditioning, or another movement-related field who loves working one-on-one with people and wants to build a long-term career in health and wellness.
We'll provide specialized StretchLab training and put clients in front of you. Your role is to deliver an exceptional experience, build strong client relationships, and turn those opportunities into a loyal, recurring book of clients.
What You'll Do
Deliver One-on-One Assisted Stretching
Provide customized assisted stretch sessions designed to improve mobility, flexibility, recovery, and overall quality of movement.
Build Long-Term Client Relationships
Get to know your clients, understand their goals, track their progress, and create an experience that keeps them looking forward to their next session.
Build and Maintain Your Client Book
We provide client and first-visit opportunities—you do not have to generate your own leads. Your ability to deliver a great experience, build trust, and retain recurring clients will directly influence how quickly you build and maintain a full schedule.
Guide First-Time Clients
Work with prospective members during their first visit, educate them on the value of consistent assisted stretching, and help them determine how StretchLab can support their goals.
Create an Exceptional Member Experience
Work alongside our studio team to create the welcoming, personal, and professional experience our members expect.
Continue Developing Your Skills
Participate in specialized StretchLab training, ongoing education, coaching, and professional development.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who wants StretchLab to be a significant and consistent part of their professional life, rather than a seasonal or short-term position.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a completed degree and/or qualifying professional certification in an approved fitness, movement, or wellness-related field.
Relevant backgrounds may include:
- Exercise Science
- Kinesiology
- Personal Training
- Strength & Conditioning
- Athletic Training
- Sports Performance
- Other qualifying fitness or movement-related disciplines
Relevant certifications may include NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, or other StretchLab-approved credentials.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You:
- Want a long-term, year-round position with the opportunity to build a consistent full-time schedule
- Can maintain stable weekly availability throughout the year
- Genuinely enjoy working one-on-one with people and building lasting relationships
- Are dependable, professional, personable, and coachable
- Take ownership of the experience you provide and the client relationships you build
- Are comfortable educating first-time clients and helping them understand the value of ongoing assisted stretching
- Are motivated by measurable performance, including client bookings, retention, and conversion
- Want to continue learning and developing your skills
- Enjoy contributing to a collaborative, client-focused team
Compensation & Earning Potential
$13/hour base pay + stretch session pay + retail commission
Flexologists earn a $13/hour base rate for clocked-in time, plus additional pay for each stretch session performed. At starting stretch rates, a fully booked client schedule equates to approximately $23/hour.
High-performing Flexologists are eligible for increased stretch rates based on performance, including client conversion, retention, and bookings.
Additional earning opportunities include:
- 10% commission on most retail products
- 5% commission on Hyperice recovery products
Your Path to a Full-Time Schedule
This position is designed to develop into a consistent 35–38 hour-per-week schedule once your client book is established.
New Flexologists are initially scheduled approximately 15–20 hours per week while building their recurring client base. We progressively add hours as your bookings grow.
We put the opportunities in front of you. StretchLab provides existing client and first-visit opportunities, so you are not expected to go out and find your own clients.
From there, your success matters. Delivering an exceptional experience, converting first visits, building strong relationships, and retaining recurring clients will determine how quickly you develop a full and consistent schedule.
For someone who excels in the role, there is significant opportunity to build a strong, consistently booked client base.
Specialized Training & Development
Previous assisted-stretching experience is not required if you meet StretchLab's qualifying professional requirements.
Selected candidates complete StretchLab's specialized Flexologist Training Program and receive ongoing in-studio coaching and professional development.
Training is paid upon successful completion of the program.
We invest significant time and resources into developing each Flexologist. Because of that investment, we're looking for someone who is equally interested in mastering the role, growing professionally, and becoming a long-term member of our team.
