Full Job Description

Title Clearing & Escrow, LLC (TC&E) is a national title and escrow provider specializing in institutional real estate transactions. Based in Tulsa and part of The Fay Group, TC&E delivers comprehensive title solutions across the mortgage lifecycle – from due diligence and securitization to default support and loan modifications. TC&E’s services include title insurance, lien clearance, assignment processing, post-closing reviews, and borrower closings in all 50 states. Reporting to AVP, Title Production, this position is responsible for performing thorough examinations of land records, assessment records and tax certificates to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the title products. This identifies and assists in the resolution of title deficiencies to support the issuance of title commitments that meet marketability standards.

This role prepares documents, inputs data and closely collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve title issues promptly. Additionally, this position actively communicates with closers and clients to address outstanding title items, ensuring timely and compliant transactions.

Qualifications Include:

High school diploma or GED Required
1+ years’ experience in title research, title examination or a related field
Ability to interpret title commitments across various jurisdictions
Knowledge of the title curative process for resolving outstanding title issues
Familiarity with title documents, including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, assignments, powers of attorney and affidavits
Basic understanding of foreclosure processes, including short sales, deeds in lieu and judicial and non-judicial foreclosures
Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with high accuracy
Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills
Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Good judgement with the ability to evaluate and make decisions
Strong time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Customer service/ client orientation with strong execution skills and results orientation
Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities
High-level of attention to detail and consistency
Flexible, open to change; ability to learn new things quickly
Collaborative; ability to work effectively with others

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is between $19.00 – $25.00 hourly
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
