Scrub In Where Others Vacation – Gynecologic Oncology Surgery PA | San Diego, CA | 26-Week Locum Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Gynecologic Oncology Physician Assistant (First Assist Certified) for an exciting 26-week locum assignment with renown Medical Center in San Diego, CA. If you enjoy a mix of surgery and clinic, love working with a collaborative oncology team, and wouldn't mind spending your off-hours at the beach, this opportunity checks all the boxes.

Assignment Highlights

Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 26 weeks (ASAP start pending credentialing) with the potential to extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week
Clinic: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
OR Days: Between 7:00 AM–6:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
No Call
Setting: Clinic & Operating Room

Your Role

Split your time between clinic and surgery while working alongside a highly skilled Gynecologic Oncology team.

Responsibilities include:

First assisting in Gynecologic Oncology surgeries
Open surgical procedures
Laparoscopic cases
Pre-operative and post-operative clinic visits
Comprehensive patient management throughout the surgical continuum

Clinical Details

Approximately 3–4 OR cases per day
Outpatient clinic responsibilities
